The aim of this article is to understand how twinning, gender and temperament have an influence on the educational practices of mothers and fathers when their twin children are three to five years old (n = 132). We use a quantitative approach, with parents participating by way of three questionnaires. The main results show that temperament is more explanatory than twinning or gender when it comes to the educational practices of the two parents.
