Suzanne Rochefort is a lecturer in modern history at the University of Lorraine (CRULH). Her research focuses on the social, cultural, and political history of performances and performers in the 18th century. She recently published a book based on her thesis, defended at EHESS: Vies théâtrales (Theatrical Lives).
