On October 25, 2024, Léonard Laborie from the Journal of Energy History / Revue d’histoire de l’énergie interviewed Jean-Pierre Williot, a Professor at Sorbonne University and a specialist in the history of gas, a field that he was one of the very first historians to investigate. Looking back at his career as a researcher, Williot reflects on the lack of an association for the history of gas energy comparable to the Association for the History of Electricity in France, as well as the implications.
