Medical fatphobia refers to all forms of discrimination suffered by obese or overweight patients through the healthcare system or healthcare providers. Medical fatphobia can result in loss of confidence and failure to access healthcare services. The aim of this study is to gather the experiences of patients and practitioners regarding the care and overall management of obese patients in primary care.
