The Maison Départementale des Personnes Handicapées (Departmental Center for People with Disabilities, MDPH) medical certificate enables MDPH’s multidisciplinary team to collect essential information so that it can assess a child’s compensation needs. This assessment, combined with the consideration of the child’s life plan and environmental factors, is key when it comes to choosing compensatory measures that will be put in place. It is therefore important that GPs are able to complete the certificate correctly.
