Professor of Latin American History at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and Director of the UMR-Mondes Américains research unit. A specialist in revolutions and political construction in 19th-century Latin America, she is the author of L’indépendance argentine entre cités et nations (Argentine Independence Between Cities and Nations) (Publications de la Sorbonne, 2006).
