Completed a post-doctorate with Carl Rogers at the Center for Studies of the Person in La Jolla in 1969-1970. Professor emeritus at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), where he taught Person-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapy and conducted numerous psychotherapy research projects.
