Henri Sterdyniak, an alumnus of the École polytechnique and ENSAE, co-founded the OFCE (Observatoire français des conjonctures économiques) and the Économistes atterrés. He has been an associate professor at Paris-Dauphine University and Sciences Po Paris, and a member of the Conseil des prélèvements obligatoires.
