Patrick Baudry is Professor of Sociology at the Université Michel-de-Montaigne-Bordeaux-III. He is the author of Une sociologie du tragique (Éditions du Cerf et Cujas, 1986) and Le Corps extrême (L'Harmattan, 1991). He is co-author of La Mort et moi et nous (Textuel, 1995) and Parlons de la mort et du deuil (Frison-Roche, 1997).
