Lecturer in sociology at Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis University, researcher at CRESPA-LabTOP (UMR 7217), and member of the ERC-DREAM project. He is the author of *Becoming a Revolutionary in Alexandria* (Dalloz, 2020) and co-author of *The Spirit of Revolt* (Seuil, 2020). He participates in the meetings and debates organized by the Arab World Institute.
